Midtown Richardson Hotel, Taipei, Taiwan

 After MCO was lifted up in Taiwan in the end of year 2022, we could finally fulfilled our trip to Taipei, Taiwan.


The flight ticket was booked back in 2018 through Malysia Airlines Enrich Miles redemption. We were supposed to fly in March 2019, however due to COVID19 and MCO was enforced, the trip was delayed for over two years!

The hotel we booked is a 4-star hotel, Midtown Richardson Hotel, Ximending, Taipei.




The hotel is strategically locally at one of the popular night market/street - Ximending. It was only a 2 minutes walk to the nearest train station(subway), and about 3-4 minutes walk to the night street of Ximending.

Check-in was done hassle-free through their self check-in kiosk.

Internet TV with more than 50 channels.

We booked the hotel with daily buffet breakfast for four. The breakfast comprises of variety of food with mainly Chinese cuisine, such as rice, mixed vege, chicken. For non-rice lover, there were bread and toast, spaghetti, fish ball and sausages, fruits and salad. Drinks includes free flow coffee, tea, apple/orange juice and green tea.

Overall it was a pleasant experience staying at this hotel.
